Two Extra Low Disperson (XLD) glasses and one Low Dispersion (LD) element reduce chromatic aberrations, yielding sharp images and outstanding resolution. The Extended Bandwidth & Angular- Dependency (eBAND) Coating delivers a dramatic improvement in antireflection performance, significantly reducing flare and ghosting, while the Internal Focus (IF) system, which focuses by moving only the internal lens group rather than the front lens elements, ensures a broad working distance as the overall length of the lens does not change when focusing.
